【How to Play】
Project Makeover is a mobile game developed by Magic Tavern, Inc. that combines elements of simulation, puzzle, and customization. When you begin, you’re introduced to clients in need of a comprehensive makeover. Your primary mission is to help these clients transform their appearances and boost their confidence.
The gameplay is divided into two main sections: fashion design and puzzle-solving. The fashion design component allows players to choose new outfits, hairstyles, accessories, and even makeup for the clients. Each makeover consists of several stages, which require the player to earn stars to progress.
Stars are earned by completing the match-3 puzzles. These puzzles challenge the player to align three or more of the same icons, earning points and clearing the board. The more icons you match in a row, the more special tiles (like bombs or rockets) you create, which can clear larger sections of the board.
To complete a puzzle level, you’re usually given a specific goal. This might include collecting a certain number of specific tiles or dropping special items to the bottom of the board. If you run out of moves before reaching your goal, you’re offered a chance to buy more moves or can choose to restart the level.
Coins and boosters can be earned or purchased to aid in challenging levels. These boosters can help by clearing tiles, providing extra moves, or offering other advantages. As you progress, the puzzles increase in complexity, requiring more strategy and forethought.
With the stars you earn, you’ll advance the narrative, unveiling stories about your clients’ lives, aspirations, and challenges. This combination of storytelling, fashion, and puzzle-solving provides a comprehensive and immersive experience.
